EBVs.
Some people are fans of Estimated Breeding Values. Others just go by sight. If you like EBVs then we have a fairly good story. Two of the stock sires in use are very high. Curragh Malcolm is probably the highest in Ireland at the present. But coming out of Netherton Missie, the highest priced cow ever in the UK, (£31k), correctness and style are very much present as well.
The stock bulls used are generally in the top 10% for DNA prediction of feed efficiency ( Genomic testing )

Regarding cattle to show, look at the National Show results. We have sold a good few heifers each year that are lucky for their new owners. We don't just keep the good ones for ourselves. Cattle good enough to win at national level are sold, for modest money, every year. It's a lucky dip. No reason why you couldn't be as lucky. The stock are here.
With 150 pedigree breeding females we have one of the largest selections available in Ireland.
A good selection of breeding bulls that are fit and good to go. Showing lots of power and style, whilst keeping the Angus easy calving genes. Dairy farmers are a major market we breed to service.
